The Book of Genesis

Course Description

This online course is an introduction to the Book of Beginnings which will help you to understand God’s plan of redemption and help you discover the relationship and importance of the Book of Genesis to our lives. We will look at how God’s nature and character is revealed through His words and deeds, and we will look at man, what God wants him to do, and what he does. In this course, you will become familiar with the theology and major themes of the Bible, including the themes of creation, the fall, God’s covenant and His redemption. This course is offered by Trinity Video Seminary

Course Objectives

  • to explain the purpose and theological outlook of the Book of Genesis;
  • to gain understanding of the content of the first book of the Bible and its key themes;
  • to provide profound insights into the nature of man and the world;
  • to examine the differences between the biblical view and the scientific view on the origin of the universe and man;
  • gain insight into how Genesis points to Christ and can be read in light of the gospel.
